We adopted Pixie at an animal rescue at 8 weeks old in July 2008.

Album: Indigo
Indigo was a stray that lived outside Dan's apartment in Cleveland Heights. We took him with us when Dan and I moved in together into a house in Independence, OH. He died of unknown causes while we were away on our honeymoon. (? - 06/08/09)

Album: Cory
Cory jumped into my van when I was moving from an apartment in Marietta, GA to the house I'd bought in Acworth, GA. I think he's been abandoned. He wouldn't get out of the van, and kept jumping back in when we tossed him out. I ended up keeping him. He's affectionately known as "Whory Cory" because of his extreme attention-whore tendencies. Mostly fearless, totally tolerant of any situation as long as someone is paying attention to him. (? - present)

Album: Ding
I got Ding from an ad in the paper when I lived in Phoenix. Extremely sweet, but very skittish. Overwhelming need to make friends, which can make for some interesting internal struggles when you also realize she's totally afraid of strangers, new situations, movements, and most sounds. Album: Inkspot
Inkspot was a kitten that we fostered for about a month until we could find a home for him.

Album: Tornado
Full name is Mr. Tornado Sweaty Cool Guy, he was Dominic's cat, adopted from the Humane Society in 2000. We had him until 2005, when territory wars and aggressiveness with the other cats in the house forced us to give him to a friend in Pennsylvania.

Album: Claude & Antoine
Two brothers we rescued as abandoned kittens in a parking garage in Tucson around 1993. Antoine ran away in 1996 right before we moved to Virginia, and eventually territory wars and spraying issues forced us to give away Claude in 2003-ish?

Album: Kaia
Humane Society kitty... fierce girl! She fit into a coffee cup when we got her, but her cage said she was given away because she was "too aggressive" and didn't get along with the family's dog. We probably got her in 1991 or early 1992. She stayed with Rob when we split up. She died of cancer. (1991/2 - 10/28/08)

Album: Milo
Pet store kitten, died of feline leukemia years ago. Buried at the top of Mt. Lemmon outside of Tucson, AZ. (1990 - 1995)

Album: Random
A stray we started feeding when I was in high school. When I got my own place I took him with me. Wonderful cat, though he acted like a dog. Would do dolphin-jumps at your hand to steal Doritos as you reached for the bowl. Don't know when he was born, but it had to be before 1986. Died of feline leukemia. (<1986 - 1994)

Album: Sidel & Snow
Brother and sister rescued from a trash can as kittens by a friend of the family. Snow died in 1989 when I was in high school. I took Sidel with me when I got my own apartment. She eventually died of feline leukemia. She is the only cat I have ever known who would play without ever extending her claws, even when trying to grab things from you. She'd use her claws on toys, but never ever on your hand. (1980 - ~1993/4)
